# Review one meeting moment A GameTape practice worksheet. Use it on your own or with a coach. 1. **Purpose:** What did you want from the conversation? 2. **Moment:** Write the time and the words that prompted your review. 3. **Response:** What did you say next? Separate the words from your interpretation. 4. **Other person's experience:** What do you need to ask them rather than infer? 5. **Commitment:** What action, owner and timeframe did the conversation establish? Leave unstated details blank. 6. **Next attempt:** Choose one change you can try in a similar conversation. 7. **Follow-up:** What happened when you tried it? What evidence supports your reading? ## Worked example - Moment: A customer asks when they will receive pricing. - Response: You describe another feature instead of answering the timing question. - Next attempt: Give the date first, or say what you need to check before committing. - Follow-up: Ask whether the answer gave the customer what they needed to decide. This is an illustrative exercise, not a customer result or a validated assessment. A transcript cannot establish another person's feelings. Opening a document does not prove it was delivered. Missing observations leave an outcome unknown. The follow-up approach draws on Marshall Goldsmith's Stakeholder Centered Leadership Model: https://www.marshallgoldsmith.com/post/stakeholder-centered-leadership-model GameTape: https://gametape.gg/meetings Prepared 7 September 2026.
